A stroll at Paco Park

I should have change the name of my blog site “Julia Lakwatsera” the reason: for four months now , me and my travel buddies (Jenn, Paula & Dennis) were roaming around Metro Manila. As for the name “Julia”  Me, Jenn & Paula were all born on the month of July. Our target is to visit historical places, restaurants with weird names and awesome interiors, and food trip on the side.

First stop, Me & Jenn went to Paco Park , according to history Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s body was first buried here. It used to be a cemetery turned into a park. Passing thru the stones you could still see the names of the person buried in that place, quite eerie.

Paco Park

This place is close to my heart, me & my family used to hear mass every sunday in this church when I was still in college ( we used to lived just across the street). The view was nice, it has a solemn atmosphere despite it’s location. The church was built like a dome, it is air conditioned. I often tell my friends, I want my wedding to be done  in this church =D.

This place is a haven for photographers, there are a lot of interesting subject. I would really loved to shoot more but my digital camera doesn’t have the features as SLR do (sad). Anyways, we have a great time exploring Paco Park.
